What is COSPLAY? well its a gala of nerdy anime, sci fi, hentai and geeky people where they dress up as their favourite characters from shows and books. No I am not one of them... somewhat... Yeah we go and dress up at conventions but we aren't the nerdy, smelly, werid ones.
So how did I get into it? Well once upon a time, i wasnted to be a fashion designer so sewing costumes was a good bonus on my application to fashion school... so I sew costumes with these other people whom were anime freaks (their cool tho not nerdy or geeky). Then I met a bunch of people and we all chill together. Now we have a cosplay group called Project Anime. You an visit our website here
Also I like being photographed like crazy... I feel like a moviestar haha and the weekend getaway from home is cool. I've learnt a lot of about japanese culture (altho none of them are japanese) and its been a fun time once a year... its like that "prom" feeling haha. even tho there are those ARG WORK SEWING MACHINE times and funny stupid cosplay DRAMA meh whatever
